The ottoman arrived broken with one of the arms that support it totally split through the wood.This is definetly a manufacturing defect and makes you wonder what kind of quality control they have.In regards to the comfort of the rocker my wife who is 8 months pregnant says the seat is as hard as a rock and the back does not come up high enough so if you are breastfeeding the baby at night you will not be able to lean back on a cushy spot. On top of this there is no one to contact to complain to. So your only recourse is to spend more money to return the item.Complete waste of money.
I love this rocker, and ordered it after testing out similar rockers in stores. I especially like the more modern and clean look of it and the fact that there are no slats for my daughter to stick her fingers in on the sides or the bottom. It is a little time consuming to build but definitely worth it. I have not had any problems with the gliding mechanism and find the seat to be very supportive and comfortable.
